Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a national project that will see all 3500 secondary schools in England rebuilt or substantially refurbished over a 15 year period.

In Fenland, approximately £100 million is available for this first stage project, comprising £91m for capital expenditure (new build, refurbishment and minor works) and £9m for ICT hardware investment at the schools (cash values as at January 2007).
