Cambridgeshire Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project will create transformed schools reflecting the vision, hopes and aspirations of all who will look to these schools for their learning, local services, leisure and cultural opportunities as well as those who will work with and for the local communities in the schools.

An initial conference was held at which Gordon Jeyes, Deputy Chief Executive for Children and Young People’s Services, launched the project with a keynote speech outlining the key features of this exciting development for Fenland schools. The event also heard stimulating contributions from Alex de Rijke, of dRMM Architects, and Marcus Orlovsky of Bryanston Square.

Cambridgeshire's Vision for Education:  Schools for the Future document sets out the county's educational vision for schools in the future in terms of our aspirations for children and young people.  It will be used to inform county policy and we also hope that schools will use the document as a resource when they are reviewing their own school visions.

The Local Authority is required to deliver a number of key documents to the Department for Children, Schools and Families and Partnership for Schools to demonstrate how the project will achieve its ambitious aims.  Please click below to access copies.
